bits & bobs for you and your bub
Thought it would be nice to have a few things for the older kids that we have. I have a few idea’s in the works and this is one of them, The Bike Caddie!
This caddie pictured below will be up for grabs at the 2 Little Bowerbirds relaunch in July.
Will fit most girls bikes and fastens with Velcro. Caddie can also has handles so that it can be used as a tote.
What do you think?
Have you seen the latest fabric by Riley Blake. You have to checkout this cute Puppy Park series:
OMG how awesome is the new line from Riley Blake, Bohemian Festival. Check it out. My girls would love dresses in this!
After dropping Miss J off at school this morning I ran into Woolworths to get a few things and came across the latest Woman’s Day magazine.
Now I don’t normally buy these magazines and I bought a mag the other week simple because it had a tagine recipe in it.
Well I had to have this weeks Woman’s Day as it had a free 16-page knitting mag with it.
As you already know I do a lot of crocheting and knitting is something that I have started to get into at the end of last year with the Art of Knitting Magazine from the newsagency.
If you are a knitter this is a great little magazine. It has something for girls and something for boys in it.
I love this one for boy’s.
Oh and you can also become a Guardian Angel and help a child that is in need. Pickup a free knitting book at your local Guardian Pharmacy, knit one of the gorgeous patterns provided and return that item to the pharmacy so that Variety directly to those who are in need.
Have you found anything interesting in the latest magazine you have purchased?
Happy Reading
I thought it was about time that I made something for my little man seeing how everything I have been doing lately is for the girl’s or a custom order.
So when I reached for a bib this morning and realised that they were all getting to small for Ethan I remembered that I picked up some plain bibs at the Charity shop sometime ago but had’n’t made up my mind what I was going to do with them.
They are brand new and I got 4 for $2, bargin. I hunted through my fabric scraps and found 4 fun boy prints to use.
Now to just cut out and add Heat n Seal adhesive to the fabric and then stick it to the bibs. I always stuff up with adhesive and iron the wrong side on first. Must remember ‘place adhesive on wrong side of fabric with the paper side up’ lol.
Finally a zigzag stitch for decoration and here you have it, 4 new bibs. Now to wait till he wakes up to use one.
Happy Sewing!
Just loving the new Santa’s Workshop line from Riley Blake. Quilting is something I would love to have a go at but with everything else that I am doing it will be one of the first things I will be sewing when everything is is finished.
Check it out!
