Little Starfish Fabric Challenge

In January I joined the Little Starfish fabric challenge where the owner Deb post out 2 different yards of fabric and accessories and you have to use them to create something that is WOW factor and people then vote for their favourite creation.  The cost for the challenge is $15 plus postage and you can win a $30 voucher.

I have been playing with ideas in my head for weeks and wanted to try out an idea I had using both fabric and yarn.  And this is what I have come up with:

Fabric Challenge 1

Fabric Challenge 2

The sizing is for 6 to 12 months and I just love the fabric that Deb sent out. Would love if you could all vote for me when the entries are up on Little Starfish Fabrics.

I am a stay at home mother of 2 beautiful girls and 1 handsome little man. I first started my blog www.eatcraftsow.blogspot.com as a place that I could share my love of sewing, anything crafty, cooking and working in my vegetable garden. I have always enjoyed making handmade gifts for family and friends and just before Christmas 2010 I started drafting designs for items that I wanted to make for myself for when my little man came into the world. With a little bit of convincing from my family and friends I decided to make and sell these items.
