Hello my lovely’s
How has the year been treating you. I thought it was about time I starting using the blog again. I have been visiting every so often and I have changed the theme a couple of times but no posts which I am very ashamed of seeing how it was January I last blogged.
So for my first post I thought I would share the new cards that I have added to my stores and which have been very poplar for new baby twins and triplets. What do you think?
I am also still stocking my items at Bowerbird Boutique in Oxley so if you are in the Brisbane area why not pop in and say hi to Jenn and the team. There are so many great times available as gifts, to decorate the home or just because you love it and must have it now.
I love popping in and seeing what is new and picking up a little something for myself or as a gift. I recently picked up a handmade card and a gorgeous little terrarium in a gear as a gift for my sisters birthday but forgot to take a picture to share.
So what else has been happening at Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs, well I have some new baby rattles in the Made It store and a couple that are WIP and will be listed in the Etsy store later in the week. I had lots of fun crocheting the maple rings and beads. I love crochet and its my way of relaxing and de-stressing.
Looking for a unique baby gift well there is plenty of sets now in the Etsy store for you to choose from. All have a bib and burp cloth with them but you can now also get swaddle blankets. I have also chosen to not included the fabric gift bag with every set.
So as you can see I have been very busy making sure that there are lots of goodies for you to choose from for your next baby or baby shower gift. There is still lots more to come and I have a few new pram liners in Andrea Lauren designs.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Here it is, my gift bag for the gift sets. What do you think. I have a great appreciation for the lovely people out there that do free motion sewing.
Finally I’m getting somewhere with my new gift sets. Its been a bit of a process with a few interruptions and allowing time for some lovely ladies to help me out and test a few products, but I’m really happy with what I have come up with. I have a few different sets, all come with a bib & burp cloth and a set of nursing pads for mum but I also have a few that have scratch mittens and crochet beanie & booties set.
I have also been working on a Christmas gift set as well that comes with a bib & burp cloth and a little Christmas stocking. All I have left to do now is the wrapping. This has been one of the reasons for the delay as I workout how I would like to present my items. I have looked at boxes and hamper baskets but have finally decided on something a little bit cute and that is reusable. So Stay tuned!!!!!
I had a lovely time this afternoon at a baby shower for one of my closest friends daughter and her fiance. They are expecting a baby boy in June and I just had to use this gorgeous Elephant fabric that I picked up acouple of weeks ago.
I just love the green and cream colours, it has that earthy feel to it. I have some more of this fabric and will be making another nappy wallet and change mat set which will be a new item available in both stores.
I also had to make a cute bib and burp cloth set which is something I use to have available when I first started my little Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs page and thought that I would re introduce the sets again.
The gift as you can see was a bib & burp cloth set, nappy wallet with matching change mat. It was a lovely afternoon was some great games and great company.
What did you get up too this weekend?
