I love looking through all the Kaisercraft scrapbook paper. We have a Kaisercraft store about 20 mins away and which is write near my local haberdashery so I try to pop in whenever I can and checkout whats new.
I just love this white demask on pink paper I picked up for some new baby cards I am making and it keeps in with the vintage theme that I am trying to stick too. I thought it would be nice to make a little change and add a heart as the background to the baby feet instead of the circles I have recently been using.
I also picked up this gorgeous paper that has some beautiful writing on it that makes a great new baby boy gift card. And to add a little bit of bling I picked up a cute butterfly punch and added the diamante for a little sparkle. This cards are a little bit smaller in size. I usually make a 6 x 6 inch card but found some 5 x 5 inches the other week.
If you already follow me on Instagram you would probably have seen some of my pictures of my works in progress. Its a great way to share behind the scenes. And if you don’t follow my Instagram page then wait till you see what I have to share tomorrow.
Until then have a lovely day!
PS do you like my new background for my cards, its Kaisercraft scrapbook paper too.
Here it is, my gift bag for the gift sets. What do you think. I have a great appreciation for the lovely people out there that do free motion sewing.
I am slowly getting the pieces of my new gift packs together but the want be ready for release this week. But I am really happy with how they are coming together. I thought I would should you my new item I have been working on that will be included in the gift pack, scratch mittens for newborns.
They have a lovely cotton print on the outside and suede cloth that is so lovely and soft in the inside.
There are lots more on the sewing table but it’s time to hit the hay so I will share a little more soon.
I have just completed an order for a lovely customer who is a photographer and looking for props for a newborn shoot. I just love the colour mustard in this beanie and matching blanket/wrap. The yarn is lovely and thick.
And I just love how this bonnet and pant set turned out. Their so cute and tiny and I just might have to make a couple for the stores.
Anyway better get back to making more stock for the market on Saturday and don’t forget stock I bring home will be listed in the stores.
Enjoy your week!!!
I had a lovely time this afternoon at a baby shower for one of my closest friends daughter and her fiance. They are expecting a baby boy in June and I just had to use this gorgeous Elephant fabric that I picked up acouple of weeks ago.
I just love the green and cream colours, it has that earthy feel to it. I have some more of this fabric and will be making another nappy wallet and change mat set which will be a new item available in both stores.
I also had to make a cute bib and burp cloth set which is something I use to have available when I first started my little Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs page and thought that I would re introduce the sets again.
The gift as you can see was a bib & burp cloth set, nappy wallet with matching change mat. It was a lovely afternoon was some great games and great company.
What did you get up too this weekend?
