I have been really slack on the blog with promoting the showcase I am taking part in to raise money for breast cancer.  I have donated 2 of my nappy wallets and have been SHOUTING all about it on Facebook but not here, silly me.

So I thought I would share a few pictures of the items that you can still pickup from the showcase:

Yeah!!! its done I finally changed my nappy wallets.  No longer do they roll out into 3 sections but now have a zipper pocket for the wipes, nappy’s are inserted behind the wipes and your nappy sacks are on the flap.

This wallet will be up for grabs at the ‘Think Pink’ showcase over on the Cuppycake Kid’s Boutique to help raise money for cancer.  Will come with a hand sanitiser holder as well.

So I have finally done it.  I have redesigned my modern cloth nappy wallet.  I have always wanted to make the wallets so that the wipes container was placed inside the bag but was not confident enough with myself that I could do it.  I have had quite a few custom orders for this style of nappy wallet so I thought it was about time that I changed it to the way I originally wanted it to look.

The wallet pictured contains 3 modern cloth nappies with their inserts.  One side of the bag has the opening for the wipes case, the other side has a small zipper pocket which I added after I finished this bag but with be sew into the side of the wallet next time. 

I have also changed the wrist strap too as per a recommend from one of my customers who purchased a clutch style nappy wallet and thought that it would be great to be able to attach the wallet to the stroller.  I have added to snaps to the strap for extra strength and I have also done this for the matching wetbag.

One more item that will come with the wallets is a matching hand sanitiser holder.  I have mine attached to the strap of my nappy bag so that I can find it easily.

So what do you think?  I am also changing the clutch style nappy wallet so stay turned for that one.

Hello everyone, how have you all been.  So sorry for the absence on the blog, I’m still here and I have been very busy with a family life and a few custom orders.  The shops are starting to look a bit empty so I thought it was about time that I cut up some of the great fabric I have been collecting over the last couple of months.

I am taking part in the Think Pink showcase over at Cuppycake Kids Boutique to help raise funds for breast cancer.  You will find 2 of my nappy wallets up for grabs which I am currently redesigning and you can have the first look at my modern cloth nappy wallet tomorrow.  There are some great items up for grabs and of course the them is PINK!!!

Yes that’s right I have redesigned my trolley covers and they now come with their very own bag that you can fold you cover down into for easy storage/carrying.

The bag is attached to the bag of the cover and acts as a pocket to keep all your goodies in why out and about in the shops.  But when it’s time to go home just simple roll the cover up and fold into the bag.

This is the first of many to come to both of my stores and will also be available for the twin trolley’s as well.

Cover still comes with the toy hook.

I have been thinking about some old items I just have available in my store after redesigning my hand sanitiser holders for a custom order a few weeks ago.  So I have decided to return my trolley covers and trolley baby capsule liners. 

(picture on the left is the old design)

The trolley covers will still be the same design but unfortunately due to materials increasing in price I have increased the price for my covers from $35 to $40 plus postage.  This one is the first to be available in the Etsy store.  Covers have elastic for easy placement on the trolley and still come with a coordinating toy ring.

I have tried a few different designs for the capsule liners, with the last one looking like this (the green one I used for Ethan).  But was still not happy with it.  So the other day while at the shops I took a pram liner with me to see how it would fit.

It was a bit to long and of course I don’t need all the anchor points, plus I wanted to add padding to make the liner as comfy as possible for little ones.  So here is what I have come up with.  What do you think?

This liner is available also in the Etsy store.  I will have more added next week as I am currently working on a few custom orders.

It’s been a while since I have had a little look at what my fellow Made It sellers have been up to so I thought it was about time I did and shared a few of my favourites again with you. 

I chose Pets this week as my theme as I have bought some fleece for my furry babies to make them a couple of coats for winter.  It’s very chilly here now, I think hubby even had frost on the front window this morning.

Hello everyone, well it’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs.  I have had quite a few custom orders coming through for the clutch style nappy wallets.  And I have finally uploaded the new On The Go mobile phone wristlets in both stores.

I also have redesigned the hand sanitiser holders due to a customer request and I am really pleased with how it has turned out.  I made them back when Bits & Bobs 4 came to life.

School holidays officially start this afternoon and so I will be having some family time next weekend, but will still be able to answer any emails and items purchased will be posted on the following Tuesday.

Well it was a busy week last week with custom orders for two lovely ladies. The first was a nappy wallet with fabric chosen by the customer.

I added a zipper to the wipes case pocket this time instead of inserting the case from an opening on the side.  I’m thinking I might start making the wallets this way from now on only I will make a pocket behind the wipes case just for some extra added space.   I’m even thinking I might start making coordinating change mats, what do you think?

The second order, the customer actually supplied the fabric.  1 set of Compact Strider Liners and a matching set of car seat liners.  I just love the fabric that I had to use especially the tree fabric, so lovely to work with.

I also celebrated my 9th wedding anniversary over the weekend and hubby and I were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to the honeymoon suite for free and we had a great dinner at our favourite restaurant, Ashmore Steak and Seafood.  I have been going to this restaurant since we discovered it back in 1999 and the meals have always been perfect, highly recommend this place.

Anyway hope you all enjoyed your weekend even if it was cold and rainy.
